    The name "Litanga"

“Litanga”  in Lingala, one of the 4 national languages of the Democratic Republic of Congo – means "a drop", referring to water as a symbol of welcome, energy, strength and life.

At the same time, with this symbol we want to express the awareness that the needs to be met are enormous, for which the collaboration of all is required, but that nevertheless every drop of water, every action and initiative of solidarity, is a contribution not to be underestimated that can result in a great good for individuals and for the community. As Mother Teresa of Calcutta said, "What we do is only a drop in the ocean but if we did not do it the ocean would have one drop less".

"Litanga" is an invitation to everyone to become that drop of water that can make a difference in our society that has so much thirst for solidarity, justice and peace
